A rose by any other name...

I know I've said it more than once, but I will say it again: we♥it is amazing. It's a really great tool for defining your personal style. So I figured, what better place is there to find inspiration for my blog makeover? And here it is: my new blog will be pink, green, and brown. As for the theme, it will feature the things I love most: pink roses, old books, and Pride and Prejudice

Yes, I will admit that I am slightly obsessive over details. Can you just imagine how crazy I'll be once it's time to start planning my wedding?

Anyway, I have decided on my theme, but I still have to choose a new name. I've gotten a few suggestions already, mostly from my good friend Ruth. Her suggestions include "Vintage Austen", "Austenite Fashion", "Vintage Heart", "Vintage at Heart", and "My Vintage Heart". All of these suggestions sound so pretty!

I've managed to come up with one of my own. I originally thought of "The Antique Rose". It sounds pretty to me, but then I started thinking that maybe it sounds a little too old fashioned. I'm not a little old lady! Then my best friend Mike suggested "The Ripest Rose", which I will admit sounds a lot sexier. He says the name implies "the ideal rose, the finest, flawless rose." :) I have awesome friends.

I'm still taking suggestions, so feel free to let me know what you think!

  1. That is interesting, wow, it is probably one of the busiest yet productive plans a lady and wife-to-be can make! I didn't know at first it was about your wedding (the theme)...I fully support vintage myself, and the color is absolutely elegant and romantic!

  2. Oh no, the theme is for my blog too. :D I'm not planning on getting married for at least another two years. And thank you!
